SPECTRE · research design
Four patterns. Different responsibilities.
Direct conversations, broadcasts, many-source selection and peer exchange: compare who connects to whom and what each pattern must preserve.
SPECTRE overview Skyzai’s apps would connect people, agents and machines in four patterns, each with its own protocol. FLOW · 1 : 1 A direct channel between two parties. Its first use would be direct messaging; settlement is a separate capability. Send an addressed message and receive a separate reply. RELAY · 1 : N Broadcasts, signed milestones and feeds, sent to a public or a permissioned audience. Publish a versioned update to an eligible audience. AXIOM · N : 1 Ranks or aggregates many inputs for one recipient. It is never consensus and never truth. Select an eligible input or combine inputs under a stated rule. MESH · N : N Routing and replication across peer paths. It would carry the other three patterns. Exchange across peer paths and respond to an unavailable link. SPECTRE is the proposed shared node and transport network beneath all four. A separate ledger design draws on Hashgraph-style agreement. FLOW, RELAY, AXIOM and MESH describe four communication patterns. SPECTRE is the proposed physical node network and transport commons that could carry them; MESH is its many-to-many routing primitive. Skyzai composes the substrate and user-facing services. These names describe research directions, not live services. These chapters explain a research design. An animation, source specification or local website test does not establish a running network.Four ways
