The Paradox

Every system wants to be permanent. Every platform wants to be indispensable. Every protocol wants to be the final protocol. This desire for permanence is the root of extraction -- the system must keep you inside to justify its existence.

Decentralized Authority Model is the opposite: the system encodes its own obsolescence.

Grace Exit at Every Level

Grace Exit is not a feature. It is a constitutional guarantee (K-invariant). The organism cannot remove Grace Exit any more than it can remove K0 (No Receipt, No Reality). Target design: the door would always be open (frozen claim until reconciliation complete).

The Ladder Built to Be Burned

The Skyzai framework is a ladder. It provides:

• A coordination structure (the four organs)
• An economic model (ZAI/SKY, Prism, LP-100)
• An epistemic pipeline (the Three-Stage Process)
• A governance framework (K-invariants, Council)

All of this exists to help you coordinate with others toward flourishing (P = Φ × V). But if you can achieve flourishing without the framework -- if you can access phi directly, coordinate without protocol, create value without tokens -- then put all of this down.

The framework does not need your loyalty. It does not need your faith. It does not need your continued participation. It needs nothing from you. That is the point.

Why This Creates Trust

Extraction-based systems say: "Stay because we will punish you for leaving." Lock-in creates dependence. Dependence creates resentment. Resentment creates the search for alternatives.

Grace Exit says: "Leave whenever you want. Here are your assets. Thank you." Freedom creates choice. Choice creates trust. Trust creates the only loyalty worth having -- the loyalty that renews itself every day because the alternative (leaving) is always available and never taken.

Target design: the door always open is the door nobody walks through (frozen claim until reconciliation complete).

The Organism That Dies Well

Biological organisms have programmed cell death (apoptosis). Cells that refuse to die become cancer. The organism that cannot prune itself cannot grow.

Skyzai has a target-design wind-down sequence. If the system no longer serves flourishing -- if P trends toward zero and cannot recover -- the protocol is designed to enter wind-down. Assets return to holders. Receipts are designed to persist on the target external anchor (Arweave in current doctrine; permanent by design; see 73-dissolution.md for the sequence and the runtime caveats). The genome remains available for anyone to fork.

This is not failure planning. This is health. The willingness to die is what makes an organism alive rather than merely persistent.

The Name

Decentralized Authority Model. "A-" as negation, as in "a-theism." Brahmanism refers to the priestly class that makes itself indispensable -- the intermediary that cannot be removed, the gatekeeper who claims the gate belongs to them.

Decentralized Authority Model is the systematic removal of indispensable intermediaries. Not by fighting them, but by building systems that do not need them. The best way to dismantle the priesthood is not revolution -- it is to build a temple with no doors and no priests, where anyone can enter and anyone can leave.
