Nexus — Sovereign Identity, Graph, and Upgrade Root

Nexus is the sovereign root of the Skyzai stack. It is what gets downloaded first, not because it is the most monetizable surface, but because it protects the asset most modern operators are most at risk of losing:

• their identity
• their audience
• their graph
• their wallet root
• their continuity

Current truth boundary: the Nexus substrate is real in code and membrane/build surfaces, but it is not yet safe to generalize that into a fully live public product claim.

What Nexus Is

Nexus is the personal layer inside the Skyzai membrane. It gives one natural person:

• one Nostr keypair
• one sovereign profile and graph root
• one personal wallet and signer root
• one KYC-capable identity path
• one personal Cortex root
• one upgrade path into a Private Business Account

It is the no-access-fee acquisition surface (η=0). Revenue begins only when the person upgrades into governed business activity.

Why It Matters

Most platforms own the graph and rent access back to the user. Nexus inverts that:

• no platform owns your audience
• no platform can take your identity away
• no platform can trap your business history in its own database

This is why Nexus is built on Nostr from the start. Just as no one can seize your bitcoin without your key, no one should be able to seize your network without your key.

Substrate vs Product

There are two meanings of Nexus, and the distinction matters.

Nexus as substrate

This is the intended substrate layer. In the current tree, parts of it exist in code and build-proof form:

• key generation
• signer root
• graph continuity
• wallet root
• KYC capability
• Cortex root

Nexus as product

This becomes visible later:

• unified activity view
• control center across acceptance modes
• richer operator dashboard
• bundled business and memory surfaces

The rule is simple: the substrate comes first. The product surface earns the right to exist once multiple flows are actually alive.

The Upgrade Path

The first paid bridge out of Nexus is the Private Business Account.

That is the moment a sovereign person becomes a governed economic entity:

Nexus -> Private Business Account -> API PAY / Online / POS / Events

This is the rooted sequence the rest of Skyzai grows from.

What Nexus Does Not Do

• It does not begin as a bank.
• It does not begin as a wealth product.
• It does not need to be the whole dashboard on day one.
• It does not monetize through lock-in.

Nexus wins by making continuity portable, then letting the user upgrade when they are ready to earn through it.

One-Line Doctrine

Own your identity. Keep your graph. Upgrade when you want to monetize it.
