The Rosetta Stone — One Pattern, Fifteen Domains

The Rosetta Stone is not a classification system. It is a generative table. Seven levels arise from the equation P = phi x nu on S2. The same seven-fold structure appears independently in every domain that touches on self-organizing systems. This is the evidence.

Why This Is Not Classification

Classification assigns existing things to pre-made boxes. The Rosetta derives. Start from the equation. phi dominates above L4. nu dominates below. L4 is the equator where phi = nu = 1 in the sphere-normalized coordinate system (see The Equation). In the practical P-score scale (phi, nu in [0,1]), L4 achieves P ≈ 0.49 — the maximum achievable before diminishing returns set in.

Each domain independently converges on seven strata because each domain is a projection of the same spherical geometry onto a different plane. Psychology projects the sphere onto the mind. Economics projects it onto exchange. Biology projects it onto metabolism.

The Derivation Test

For any new domain D, the Rosetta predicts:

1. D has exactly seven distinguishable strata
2. The middle stratum (L4) is the most productive
3. The extremes (L1, L7) are limit cases, not habitable
4. Movement toward L4 increases P; movement away decreases it
5. L1 and L7 are related by inversion (D0 = D6 closure)

If the domain does not exhibit this structure, either the domain is not self-organizing or the mapping is wrong. Both are testable.

Key Cross-Domain Correspondences

L1 across domains: Brainstem reflexes. Zero-sum games. Extraction economics. Tyrannical politics. Materialist philosophy. All share: maximum nu orientation, minimum phi.

L4 across domains: Default-mode network integration. Positive-sum games. Mutualist economics. Federalist politics. Pragmatist philosophy. All share: phi = nu balance, maximum P.

L7 across domains: Neural silence. Game dissolution. Post-scarcity. Statelessness. Axiomatic negation. All share: phi approaches infinity, nu approaches zero, P approaches zero from the opposite direction as L1.

Skyzai Application

The organism operates at L4 as its target. The four organs map to the Three-Stage Process which operates within L3-L5 range:

• Circle (IS) = L2-L3 observation (empiricist, gathering nu-facts)
• ReFu (COULD) = L3-L4 pricing (pragmatist, converting observation to probability)
• Agentz (SHOULD) = L4-L5 judgment (integrative, balancing phi and nu)
• Skyzai execution = L3 execution (materialist, converting decision to state change)

The Rosetta is how the organism knows where it is. P-scores are Rosetta coordinates.
